Bresney Fanning is a highly accomplished and dedicated healthcare professional with a comprehensive background in neonatal care. Her educational journey includes a master's degree in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner from the Medical University of South Carolina's (MUSC) College of Nursing, complemented by a bachelor's degree in nursing from MUSC.

Her clinical experience as a neonatal nurse practitioner began at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill in a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit before returning to MUSC NICU in 2011. She provides care at the Level IV NICU at Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital, a regional referral center with pediatric subspecialty services, high-risk deliveries, and ECMO. Her commitment to advancing the field of neonatal care is evident in her publications and active involvement in research projects. Bresney is also involved at the national level, working with the national certification corporation to develop certifications for neonatal and obstetrical health care professionals. Extensive experience, commitment to quality care, and education make her an asset in neonatal nursing.
