Dr. Carrie Busch is an assistant professor in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Child Abuse Pediatrics. She received her M.D. from Texas A&M, completed her residency in general pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and remained at MUSC to complete a dual Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship. She was the first fellow in the nation to complete both of these trainings in a combined setting. During her fellowship she also completed a Masters in Clinical Research and her current interests include quality improvement and trauma. Dr. Busch holds board certifications in General Pediatrics, Child Abuse Pediatrics, and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She currently serving as the quality improvement (QI) coordinator for the MUSC Pediatric Emergency Department. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
