Katherine Vincent, APRN, NNP-BC, is a dedicated and accomplished Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to excellence in neonatal care. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and MSN in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama and her B.S. in Nursing from Clemson University. Katherine holds board certification from the National Certification Corporation and is licensed as an APRN in South Carolina.

With over a decade of experience at the MUSC, Katherine has been an integral part of the NICU since 2008. In her current role as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, she manages a diverse caseload of neonates with various medical conditions, contributing to developing care plans, writing orders, and performing critical procedures. Katherine is actively involved in quality improvement initiatives and plays a key role in mentoring and educating new graduate nurses and NNP students. Katherine's research area of interest is in Neonatal Acute Kidney Injury.

Recognized for her outstanding contributions, Katherine received the NNP Rising Star Award from the National Association of Neonatal Nurses in 2018. Her dedication to patient care and advocacy is complemented by her involvement in community service activities, including volunteering at Camp Hope and medical mission trips to Uganda. Katherine's achievements, awards, and ongoing commitment to professional development underscore her status as a respected leader and advocate in neonatal nursing.
