Luke William Schroeder, MD

Dr. Luke Schroeder graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2007, earning his degree in biology, and completed medical school training at the University of Minnesota in 2011. Afterwards, he completed pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota in 2014 and pediatric cardiology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. He did an additional year of training in the cardiac intensive care unit on a T32 research grant. He achieved American Board of Pediatrics certification in 2014. , Dr. Schroeder joined the MUSC faculty in 2018 as a pediatric cardiac intensivist and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics. His areas of special interest remain in cardiac critical care specifically heart failure/transplant management in the ICU setting, mechanical circulatory support including ventricular assist devices, and quality improvement.,
