Michael North, MD

Michael North Jr., M.D. is a family medicine physician who specializes in primary care for patients of all ages, from children to adults. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, and went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, VA where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) National Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, where he trained in family medicine and served as Chief Resident.

Dr. North's practice includes preventative care, treatment of acute illnesses, and management of chronic conditions. He cares for patients both in the hospital and the clinic. He performs in-office procedures including joint injections as well as dermatologic and women's health procedures.

Dr. North is passionate about educating his patients and future generations of doctors. He believes that education is key to improving health and understanding. Accordingly, he actively participates in training both medical students and resident physicians. He values building long-term relationships with his patients and their families, collaborating to improve their health and well-being.
