Smarika Shrestha, M.D.

Dr. Smarika Shrestha is a respected thoracic surgeon at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center. She combines her extensive training and compassionate care to help her patients.

Dr. Shrestha received her medical degree from Dalhousie University, followed by a General Surgery Residency at West Virginia University. She further specialized with a Thoracic Surgery Residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Shrestha is board-certified in both general and thoracic surgery.
