University Medical Center is dedicated to changing what's possible in health care through its patient- and family-centered care, education, research, and various partnerships. University Medical Center is a nationally recognized and leading health sciences university. It is comprised of four hospitals (Institute of Psychiatry, Children's Hospital, Ashley River Tower, and University Hospital) and an NCI-designated cancer center, MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. University Medical Center is also home to South Carolina's only solid organ transplant center, the Level I Trauma Center, as well as one of only two National Telehealth Centers of Excellence.
